Sweeten Coconut Oil

Coconut oil comes from the flesh inside a coconut and is used as a sweetener.

Coconut oil is naturally sweet and includes a wide range of health benefits. Coconut oil is used in cooking and is a central ingredient in many cuisines. For some people, however, coconut oil is not sweet enough for the food they are preparing. If the coconut oil is not sweet enough naturally, there are a number of ways to help give the coconut oil a sweeter taste. You can either add supplements to the coconut oil or cook the coconut oil with sweeter foods. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

Mixed With Other Sweeteners

1. Lightly warm the coconut oil in the microwave. You just want to have oil lukewarm enough for mixing.

2. Add almond milk in your mixes. If you are making a beverage with coconut oil, you can add almond milk to the ingredients. Almond milk can help add a sweet, creamy supplement to the beverage mix.

3. Integrate sugar. Adding more sugar helps strengthen the sweet taste of coconut. Keep in mind though, that you will add more calories by adding this sugar.

4. Mix the sweeter coconut oil into desserts. The new coconut oil mix is a great sweetener for cake, brownie or cookie mixes and other desserts.
