Get A Man To Commit To Marriage

Does your man need a little nudge to pop the question and commit to marriage? Making the decision to get married is a big step for anyone, but some men have a more difficult time with this than others. If your man is having difficulty making the marriage commitment, there are a few easy steps that can be taken to help move him in the right direction.

Instructions

1. Have a heart-to-heart talk with him about his feelings. Try to determine what scares him about the idea of marriage or any other reservations he may have. Take his concerns seriously, even if you don't necessarily feel the same way, and take steps to alleviate those concerns.

2. Make your feelings known. Although you don't want to come across as nagging or pushy, make sure that your man knows that you are interested in marrying him. Some men may not be willing to take the next step unless they are completely sure of the woman's feelings for them, so make sure your man knows your thoughts on the subject.

3. Show him your commitment. Although telling him your feelings is important, showing him your feelings is essential. Make sure you are there for him when he needs you and continuously prove that you will be there for him for the long haul.

4. Show him you're responsible. Some men may be reluctant to get married because they do not trust that their significant other is good with finances or would be willing to pitch in and take a fair share of the household responsibilities. Make sure your man can see that not only would you be a fabulous wife, but a true partner in every sense of the word.

5. Help him become responsible. Be supportive and helpful while he tries to get past the financial, career or other obstacles that may be interfering with his ability to make a marriage commitment. Many men only feel ready to make the commitment to marriage when they feel like they have achieved a certain level of financial success or responsibility, so it is important that you help him find that level.

6. Be patient. If you both are truly in love and are both responsible, trustworthy adults who are there for each other and openly communicate about the issue, it's only a matter of time before he'll pop the question and commit to marriage.
