Make Seasoned Potato Wedges

Seasoned potato wedges are a casual family side dish.

Potatoes are an inexpensive side dish that can be cooked in many different ways. They are naturally fat free and a single potato contains 7 g of fiber. Seasoned potato wedges are a crispy and spicy alternative to roasted potatoes. They only take a few minutes to put together and can be customized to fit the preferences of any family. Many different varieties of potatoes can be used to make potato wedges, but starchy russet potatoes provide a fluffy interior and crispy skin when baked. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

2. Scrub the potatoes and cut them lengthwise into eight wedges.

3. Toss the wedges in olive oil so that they are well coated. Mix the garlic salt, paprika and pepper together and sprinkle on all sides of the potatoes.

4. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet or in a shallow baking pan.

5. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes and then turn the wedges over. Continue baking until the wedges are tender and crispy around the edges. This should take 15 to 20 minutes.
