Instructions
1. Purchase fie ant bait from your local hardware store or home improvement warehouse. It is a good idea to purchase more bait than you think you will need--this allows you to deal with a secondary infestation if needed.
2. Shine a flashlight around the area where the fire ants have been spotted. Fire ants can squeeze through even the smallest cracks, so sealing up those cracks is the best way to keep the ants out.
3. Place a bait tray in the areas where fire ants have been spotted. The workers ants will carry the bait back to the nest, where the queen will eat it and die.
4. Keep an eye on the exterior of the home for signs of fire ants as well. Place a bait tray in any outdoor locations where fire ants have been spotted.
