Boston offers a wide selection of top restaurants.
Boston is an elegant, old-fashioned city with plenty of interesting eateries. Many are casual, but there are also some expensive restaurants in the city. Choices range from top-of-the-line sushi to French brasserie-style food to upscale contemporary cuisine. Most of these restaurants boast plenty of imported wine to pair alongside the menu items Add this to my Recipe Box.
Radius Restaurant
This restaurant is one of Boston's fanciest. The Boston Globe writes, "The star of Radius still shines. Chef Michael Schlow's cuisine is more nuanced and even more delicious." Sample the upscale food in a modernist booth.
The menu is contemporary American with a twist, with dishes like handmade papparedelle with lamb sausage, favas, piquillo peppers, mint, grana padana or the herb-basted cod with corn, smoked bacon, chanterelle mushrooms, Thai basil and Provencal vinaigrette. There is also a long wine list.

Lucca
The North End of Boston is known for its Italian culture and restaurants. Many are down-home pizzerias or trattorias, but there are also a few elegant and expensive choices. One is Lucca, which has handsome Italian granite floors, candlelight and fresh greenery.
The menu is upscale Italian, with dishes like fresh rigatoni pasta with braised wild boar and a sweet and sour tomato ragu, or grilled bone-in pork chop with prosciutto wrapped figs, blue cheese crushed
Yukon gold potatoes, arugula, and a balsamic vinegar demi-glace. Lucca also serves many Italian imported wines.
