1. Make a honey wash that can triple as a shampoo, face wash and body wash. Combine 1/2 cup of honey, 1 cup of water and 1 cup of mild liquid soap in a squeeze bottle. Keep in the shower and use daily to clean the hair and skin.

2. Use avocado as a nourishing facial and hair mask. Mash 1 avocado until smooth and creamy and apply it to the face and hair for 20 minutes. Rinse in the shower to reveal conditioned hair and moisturized skin.

3. Create an oil-controlling astringent by soaking cucumber slices in witch hazel. Allow cucumbers to soak in the witch hazel for an hour before use, and keep the astringent in the refrigerator. Simply rub the cucumber slices over oily areas.

4. Dilute one cup of apple cider vinegar in two cups of water for a scalp-clarifying hair rinse. Once a week before shampooing, pour the rinse over the hair and massage into the scalp for two to three minutes to prevent flaking and support healthy hair growth.

5. Combine one tablespoon of vitamin E oil and one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil to create an intensive night treatment for the face, elbows and the scalp. Before bed, apply oil mixture to the face, elbows and scalp (cover head with a shower cap) and rinse in the shower the next morning to reveal healthy skin.
